About Us
At The African Cinema Classics, we explore visual presentations of various sorts (feature length films, short films, documentaries) that are of African origins or possess some form of African flavour.
We are not particularly a film review forum (we love every single piece of creative offering featured on our platform); we simply seek to function as a medium through which the history of African cinema can be celebrated.
While most film posts will be uploaded on Sundays, the following special categories may feature on other specific days of the week:
Modern Mondays: Discussing films made in the 21st Century but which are, in our opinion, destined to be regarded as classics in the future.
Foreign Fridays: Featuring films and documentaries about, or shot in, the continent by non-Africans.
Short Saturdays: Exploring short films made by some of the continent’s greatest directors.
Follow us on this explorative journey across Africa through the vehicle of film!
